Magical Summer Awaits!

When I was young, I was blessed with attending summer camp for three summers in a row. Those few days each year left such a lasting and beautiful impression on me. At a camp deep in the woods, complete with nature walks, platform tents, archery, and horses, those days were my introduction to what being one with nature really means. The pressure of my school and home life was gone. I was free to be me in any way I wanted. I can see now that Summer camp offered the little girl who not so long before had played in the back yard making “medicines” from acorns and lilacs a way to return to where she felt most herself. Summer camp was a place away from the stress I felt even in childhood, where not only was it okay to pick up rocks and be mesmerized by them, it was encouraged! When I pointed out a toad, the others with me didn’t squirm, they were just as excited. When the rain soaked us through, we laughed together. And when I fell in the mud, no one laughed, and someone was ready with a hand up. It felt like magic, it felt like belonging. Each year I returned home a wiser, calmer, more confident, renewed version of me.

Maybe it’s my chosen path but as I’ve grown and met more humans, I’ve found that my positive summer camp experience isn’t unique, I’ve met and made friends with many other women who also loved summer camp as a child. Even more who longed to have the experience of summer camp. As an adult, I’ve often had the conversation with friends. What if we had a summer camp just for us? All the relaxation and connection plus modern bathrooms, modern air conditioned cabins, and incredible high vibe food. What if we had a place to go to retreat with others who were passionate about nature, compassion, sovereignty. What if we had just a few days each year where we could retreat, receive and if maybe even share our gifts?

Friends, we’ve made it happen!

Four nights and five days of community, connection, and decompression in peaceful, North - central Minnesota.

The space

We’re honored to be able to invite you to join us on land that has been dedicated to simple spirituality and personal healing for over three decades. The space was the result of a dream shared by three Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. They recognized how important it is for individuals living in a modern, fast paced society(that’s us) to be able to retreat to a quiet, nurturing place to replenish the soul and deepen their connection with self, nature, each other, and the universe.

What began as a single building on 120 acres has be grown by many loving hands into the community of beautiful cabins and loved filled natural space that it is today.

You’ll feel the something special the moment you set foot in the center of the main circle. There energy pulsing through this land is remarkable. We can’t wait for you to feel it and add to it.

The Food

What and how we eat fuels how we move through the world. There’s something extra nourishing about eating delicious high vibe food with other in a relaxing positive environment. Our time together will fill your body with the nutrition that supports a healthy body and mind, and satisfies your soul. Every family style meal will be full of fresh delicious foods designed to nourish your body and elevate your energy.

Meals will be vegan friendly. Our gluten free participants will have ample options. There will be dairy products available: fresh home made, greek style yogurt and butter. And all main dishes for meal will be prepared using vegan friendly milk and butter alternatives.

If you have any concerns regarding dietary restrictions please reach out, we’ll be happy to discuss options.

The indoor community space is full of plants and books related to all varieties of spirituality, philosophy, and wellness. With a few great fictional reads thrown in for good measure.

Our beautiful retreat is located just one hour and forty-five minutes north of Minneapolis and just an hour and 15 minutes south west from Duluth. It’s the perfect drive to leave the world behind.
